Made Red Velvet version tonight and they are delicious! Could not be easier! I did not however, roll them by hand or I would be red for days! I dropped a spoonfull of batter into a bowl of powered sugar and rolled it around till covered. They are light and airy and like a bite of cake. Will be trying different flavor the next time but will be hard to beat Red Velvet.

How in the world do they thicken up enough to roll in your hands? My batter was rather liquidy and unable to be rolled into balls. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I made these today with red velvet cake mix. They taste great, but they didn’t crackle open like yours. What did I do wrong?

Turned out horrible. They had spread over entire baking sheet. It was a pain scraping them off.
