Most days I wake up in a pretty good mood – but then there are “those days”.  You know, the days when no amount of coffee can fix it and I’d rather just stay in the bed.  We are all human and it happens.  Bad moods strike, BUT, you can fix it!

Here are some suggestions that I found in my search to quiet my inner complainer:

  • Try to figure out why you’re in a mood.  Is the dog annoying you?  Put him outside.  Hungry?  Grab a snack.  Make that annoyance disappear!!
  • Pay attention to how you carry yourself.  Shoulders down and sad?  Lift ‘em up!!  A change in posture may result in a change of attitude!
  • Do what makes you feel good!  Jump in the car and crank the tunes!  Go for a run or walk that annoying dog of yours. :-)

Listen folks, staying in a bad mood for too long will start to impact your health.  And who wants backaches, insomnia or headaches?  Life’s too short for that!

When I’m in a bad mood I like to listen to “Texas Flood” by the one and only Stevie Ray Vaughan.  I’ve attached it below, you know, just in case you need it.

Have a great day!
