I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie “The Bucket List”, but if you haven’t – you must. Go to the nearest Red Box and get it!! What a great movie with an even better message. Just to give you a taste, here’s my favorite line from the movie, “We live, we die, and the wheels on the bus go round and round”. Not that the whole movie is funny, there are those moments that make you think.

No one likes to think about death, but as my dad used to say, “we’re all gonna die one day”. So it’s more important than ever for you to stop waiting to do those things that you want to do. Want to sky dive? Why wait till you’re 40th birthday? Do it today! Ok, I know, it’s Thursday and you have to work, go this weekend then!

Some items on my bucket list:
1. Go to the location in California where my parents were married.
2. Learn how to step dance, those of you who know me can laugh now.
3. Take an MMA (mixed martial arts) class so I can kick butt if I need to.
4. FINISH COLLEGE ALREADY!

In all seriousness – no one is getting any younger. Do those things that you want to do, and do them as soon as you can – we are not guaranteed another day.

I will leave you with another quote from the movie: “Even now I cannot understand the measure of a life, but I can tell you this. I know that when he died, his eyes were closed and his heart was open. And I’m pretty sure he was happy with his final resting place, because he was buried on the mountain. And that was against the law.”

What’s on your bucket list?
